Is it time for Starbucks yet?

Yall, i put my daughter to bed exactly 1 hour ago and guess where i am.. GUESS.. yes, you are right if you said IN THE ROCKING CHAIR AGAIN. Im over here thinking about what drink i’ll order in the morning.. its a good thing Starbucks doesnt sell liquor, I’d trade my Venti strawberry acai refresher for a Venti crown and coke.. id never trade that slice of banana bread though.. These are the days they say.. idk who “they” are but they probably don’t have children bc these are NOT the days.. im tired as a mother

Can we talk weather for a second? Today it was 14 degrees and blizzard cold. Saturday its going to be 51 degrees, and Sunday is 61 .. wth is that? I cant keep up. All i know is when the sun shines no matter the temp, my son is ready to wear basketball shorts again w high socks. If you have a son, you know this to be true.. not sure who started this trend but if it stayed back in 2019 i wouldn’t have been mad..

OK, back to the kiddos.. who has a child under one and actually enjoys going out to eat? Jesus take the wheel.. every time we go to a restaurant I tell myself I’m done going out but #happyhour gets me every time.. it always starts out ok, baby is still in the carseat for about 2 mins after you get seated, and then BOOM, before you know it, not only have you fed her/him a whole container of puffs (kidding relax) now you’ve given them every single toy in your bag of tricks.. thats not enough? Take the wipes, chew on this diaper, please for the love of God i just want to take one bite, ONE BITE 😭😭 Anyone else know this feeling? I cant be alone..

Who got their laundry done today? Who got it folded? Who got it put away? These steps each take me a full day so if you’ve completed any of those then you are WINNING! Pat yourself on the back! How about the dreaded “W”, it rhymes with “smirkout” .. sigh, reading that word makes me out of breath.. i dont know how i was a college athlete, im T-I-R-E-D..
